Prices of petroleum products hiked again
KATHMANDU: The Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has again increased the prices of petrol, diesel and kerosene by Rs 1 per liter. The revised price rates will be effective from Saturday midnight.
After the price hike, petrol will cost Rs121 per liter while the prices of diesel and kerosene will cost Rs 104 per liter.
Similarly, the NOC has also hiked the prices of aviation fuel by Rs 2 per liter for domestic carriers. Now, the price of aviation fuel has reached Rs 76 per liter.
The NOC still claims a loss of Rs 6.72 per liter on petrol, Rs 0.44 per liter on diesel and Rs 410.47 per cylinder on cooking gas cylinder. Accordingly, it has claimed that the corporation has a fortnightly loss of Rs .7066 billion.
But the price of cooking gas and and aviation fuel for international airlines remained unchanged, according to the NOC.
Earlier, the NOC had increased the prices of petroleum products on Chaitra 22.
